I was on the JSTL expert group and have been using Hibernate since beginning of 2003. I'm an Apache committer since 1999 (mainly for the James project http://james.apache.org) and have donated and written about other open source projects. I tore my achilles tendon a few days before Christmas 2003, which finally gave me the time to get this taglib ready to publish and ready for public consumption.
